Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. quick active dry yeast
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. warm water
  • 2 c. Bisquick (original or low fat)
  • 1/4 c. milk or low fat
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk

Directions

    Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water.

    Mix in Bisquick and milk until dough forms.

    Gently smooth into a ball on surface dusted with Bisquick.

    Knead 10 times.

    Roll 1/2-inch thick.

    Cut with 2-inch biscuit cutter.

    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

    Let rise in warm place 30 minutes.

    Bake at 425° for 6 to 8 minutes. Yields 9 to 12 buns.
