  • 1 box angel food cake mix
  • 1/2 c. Crisco for frosting
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

    Prepare cake mix as directions on box.

    Spread evenly on ungreased large cookie sheet.

    Bake at 350° until golden brown on top, about 10 to 15 minutes.

    Let cool slightly.

    Loosen sides and turn onto a clean dish towel.

    Start at one end and roll cake up in the towel.

    Cool completely in towel.
