Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 pkg. French's ground beef seasoning with onions
- 1/4 c. fine, dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 (12 oz.) jar chili sauce (Del Monte)
- 1/2 c. grape jelly
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. vinegar
Directions

1Mix the first 5 ingredients well.

2Let stand 10 minutes. Shape into small balls.

3Heat next 4 ingredients together over low heat until jelly is melted, blending well.

4Place meat balls in sauce.

5Cook over low heat.

6Turn each meat ball over.

7Cover; simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

8Uncover; simmer for 10 minutes or until meat balls are done and sauce is thick.

9May be made in advance and reheated slowly before serving.

10Will keep for 2 to 3 days in refrigerator or frozen will keep 1 month.

11Can freeze meat balls and make sauce and cook and serve as needed.
