- 10 apples, cooked and strained
- 1 qt. apple cider
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. clove
- 10 lb. sugar or to taste
Directions

1Place cooked and strained apples in a roasting pan with the apple cider.

2Add cinnamon, cloves and sugar.

3Bake at 200° to 250° until butter is stiff.

4Have lids boiled in hot water.

5Ladle into sterile jars; put lids on and turn upside down for 5 minutes (or hot pack for 10 minutes).
