Apple Butter-Oatmeal Bars

  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup apple butter
  • 1 each eggs
  • 23 cup flour, unbleached all-purpose
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup coconut flaked

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar; blend in apple butter and egg.

    Stir flour with soda, baking powder and salt; stir into creamed mixture.

    Stir in oats and coconut.

    Spread in greased 13x9x2-inch baking pan.

    Bake at 350F (180C).

    If desired, sift powdered sugar over top while still warm; cool.
