  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 3 c. apples (not cooked)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 c. pecans

Directions

  1. 1
    Mix oil, sugar and eggs. Add flour, salt and soda (keep a little mixture to put on top of cake when cooking).
  2. 2
    Mix all ingredients with nuts and apples. Bake in tube pan at 350° for about 1 1/2 hours.
