  • 4 red apples, unpeeled, cored and diced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sharp prepared mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • lettuce leaf, washed and dried
  • 12 cup chopped filberts or 12 cup chopped walnuts
