- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 Granny Smith apples
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
Directions

1Mix flour, butter, 1/3 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla together in food processor.

2Press dough into 10-inch spring-form pan, making sure it goes up the sides.

3Bake at 350° for 15 minutes; cool.

4While cooling mix cream cheese, eggs, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla together.

5Spread on cooled crust.

6Pare and slice apples thin.

7Toss with remaining sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and walnuts.

8Arrange topping attractively on top of filling.

9Bake at 450° for 15 minutes, then at 350° for 45 minutes.

10Cool on rack 4 to 6 hours.
