- 1 gal. cut up tomatoes
- 8 large onions, chopped
- 4 peppers, chopped
- 6 c. vinegar
- 6 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. salt
- 8 large quartered unpeeled and ground apples
- 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. cloves (in bag)
Directions

1Cook tomatoes and strain off some of the juice.

2Add onions, peppers, vinegar, sugar and salt; cook 2 hours.

3Add apples, cinnamon and cloves.

4Cook until thick.

5Makes about 10 pints. May be frozen.
