Ingredients

  • 4 cups Apple Cider
  • 1 strip Orange Peel (1x2 Inches)
  • 1 whole Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 whole Cloves
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream For Topping
  • 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon, For Sprinkling
  • 1 whole Honey Crisp Apple, Cored And Sliced, For Garnish

Directions

    Combine first four ingredients in a medium saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for 10-12 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and strain the mixture into an 8x8 metal pan. Put the pan into the freezer and freeze it two hours, or until solid. Remove pan from the freezer and scrape the mixture with a fork so you have a shaved ice consistency. Put it into 6 individual-sized ramekins. Top with a dollop of whipped cream, cinnamon, and apple slices.
