  • 1/2 lb. apples, cored, pared and thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. margarine
  • 2 graham crackers (2 1/2-inch squares) made into crumbs

    Preheat oven to 375°.

    In small mixing bowl combine apples and lemon juice, tossing to coat; add water, honey and cinnamon, mixing well.

    Transfer to 2 cup casserole; dot with margarine and sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs.

    Bake until apples are soft, 30 to 35 minutes.
