- 6 to 8 apples, sliced
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Place sliced apples in a buttered 9 x 9-inch pan.

2Blend together with a pastry blender (as for making pie dough) the butter, sugar, flour and cinnamon.

3Work until crumbly, then pack closely over the apples.

4If the apples are very dry, a little water may be placed in the bottom of the pan.

5Bake 45 to 60 minutes at 375°.

6Serve warm with whipped cream.

7Serves 5 or 6.
