  • 1 can apple pie mix
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • a few drops lemon juice
  • 2 c. Duncan Hines white cake mix
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Mix apples, sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice in a 6 x 10-inch Pyrex dish.

    Put cake mix in mixing bowl.

    Cut butter in thin slices and blend into cake mix with pastry blender.

    Add pecans; mix well and sprinkle over apple mixture.

    Bake in 350° oven for 35 or 40 minutes.
