- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. Crisco
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 egg white
- 8 to 10 apples (8 c.), sliced
- milk
- 1 c. cornflakes
- 3/4 to 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Combine flour and salt.

2Cut in Crisco.

3Beat egg yolk in measuring cup.

4Add enough milk to make 2/3 cup liquid.

5Mix well. Stir egg into flour.

6Roll 1/2 of dough to fit a 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan.

7Sprinkle with cornflakes.

8Add apples.

9Combine sugar and cinnamon.

10Sprinkle apples.

11Roll remaining dough.

12Place over apples.

13Seal edges.

14Cut slits in top.

15Brush with egg white. Sprinkle with sugar.
