  • 5 Winesap apples
  • 1 can (10 count) biscuits
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Peel apples and cut in halves, remove the core.

    Wrap each half of apple in biscuit by stretching it over the apple half. Place in baking dish.

    In a boiler, heat water, margarine, sugar and cinnamon until margarine is melted.

    Pour over apples.

    Bake at 325° to 400° for 45 minutes, basting with juice every 15 minutes.
