- Pastry for single pie crust
- 2 Granny Smith Apples Peeled & sliced
- 1/4 cup apricot preserves
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- For the Topping:
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons chopped pecans
Directions

1Lay pastry flat on large parchment lined baking sheet.

2Toss apples with remaining ingredients. Mound in center of pastry and gather up edges.

3In a small bowl cut butter into flour and brown sugar. Add pecans and spread on top of apples.

4Bake 35-40 minutes at 400, covering pecan center with foil after 15 minutes to prevent burning them.

5Let cool atleast 30 minutes before cutting.
