- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 4 large apples, peeled
- nuts
- chopped maraschino cherries, drained
Directions

1Cook the first 3 ingredients until yellow and thickens (will be white with flour until it thickens). Add the butter. Cool, then add the apples, one at a time.

2Pour into Pyrex dish. Cover with Cool Whip. Sprinkle nuts on top.

3Add the cherries.

4May be served as a dessert or salad.
