- 1 (17 1/4 oz.) pkg. frozen puff pastry
- 6 to 8 apples, sliced thinly
- 1 1/2 c. raisins
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. finely chopped nuts
- 5 Tbsp. melted butter
- 6 Tbsp. bread crumbs or cookie crumbs
- 1 to 2 beaten egg yolks
Directions

1Thaw puff pastry for 20 minutes.

2Combine apples, raisins, cinnamon, sugar, nuts and crumbs.

3Unfold and roll out each pastry square to 13 x 10-inch rectangle.

4Place half the apple mixture along center line of pastry (lengthwise).

5Brush edges with beaten egg yolks.

6Fold dough over filling, pressing edges together to seal.

7Place seam-side down on greased rimmed baking sheet. Repeat with remaining pastry.

8Brush tops with egg yolks.
