  • 2 c. applesauce
  • 3 c. sifted flour
  • 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking soda

    Cream margarine and sugar.

    Add egg and beat well.

    Add applesauce, then sifted dry ingredients.

    Beat smooth and fold in raisins, if desired.

    Bake at 350° in a tube pan for 1 hour or until done.
