- 23 cup dried apricot
- 12 cup butter
- 14 cup granulated sugar
- 1 13 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 12 cup chopped nuts
- 12 cup shredded coconut
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350F.

2Rinse apricots, cover with water and boil 10 minutes.

3Drain, cool and chop.

4Combine butter, sugar and 1 cup flour.

5Blend together until crumbly.

6Pack into bottom of greased 8 x 8-inch square pan.

7Bake at 350F until lightlly browned, aout 15-18 miutes.

8Beat eggs.

9Add vanilla and gradually beat in brown sugar.

10Sift remaining 1/3 cup flour with baking powder and salt.

11Blend into mixture.

12Stir in nuts, coconut and apricots.

13Spread over baked layer.

14Return to oven for about 30 minutes longer.

15Cool.
