- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 12 oz. apricot preserves
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Butter and flour 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Mix first 8 ingredients together and spread into pan.

3Cover with apricot preserves.

4Beat egg whites and sugar until stiff and spread over apricot preserves.

5Top with nuts.

6Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
