- 3/4 c. chopped dried apricots
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 egg
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Soak apricots in warm water for 1/2 hour.

2Beat egg. Add sugar and melted butter.

3Add dry ingredients alternately with orange juice.

4Stir in apricots and nuts.

5Pour into greased and floured 5 x 9-inch pan or two 4 x 8-inch pans.

6Bake at 325° for 1 hour for large pan or 50 minutes for small pan.
