- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg white, beaten
- 3/4 c. chopped coconut or nuts
Directions

1Combine apricots and 1/3 cup sugar; cook until thickened. Cool.

2Cream butter and remaining 1/3 cup sugar until light and fluffy.

3Beat in egg yolk and vanilla.

4Mix in sifted dry ingredients.
