Ingredients
- 1 c. dried apricots
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. gelatin
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cook apricots and water; mash and cool.

2Measure 1 1/4 cups. Soak gelatin in cooled apricots.

3Add sugar and heat in double boiler.

4After heating thoroughly, transfer pan with apricots to a low flame and bring to a boil.

5Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

6Remove from heat.

7Add nuts and vanilla; cool.

8Pour into an 8 x 8-inch pan lined with Saran Wrap and coat with white Karo syrup.

9Cover and refrigerate for 3 days.

10Cut into cubes. Roll in cornstarch, then powdered sugar.

11May use applesauce in place of apricots.
