- 1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
- 1/2 lb. hot sausage, slightly browned and drained
- 1 1/2 c. buttermilk Bisquick mix
- 15 to 20 whole jalapeno peppers
- 1 pkg. Shake 'n Bake for pork
Directions

1Mix cheese and sausage, then add Bisquick mix in 3 equal parts.

2Dough will be stiff.

3Knead several minutes and set aside. Slit and seed jalapeno peppers.

4Stuff each pepper with a piece of cheese and pinch back together.

5Pinch off a piece of sausage mixture and pat into flat pancake.

6Place the pepper in the middle and wrap around dough until covered.

7Roll back and forth in hands to form egg shape.

8Roll each egg in shake and bake.

9Eggs can be baked now or frozen.

10Bake at 300° for 25 minutes.
