  • 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 c. quick cooking rice
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus
  • dash of Tabasco
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

    Saute onion in oil.

    Add mushrooms until wet.

    Add chicken broth and rice; boil.
