- 1 pie shell for 10-inch quiche dish
- 2 pkg. frozen asparagus
- 10 slices bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 oz. mushrooms, sliced
- 4 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. half and half
- asparagus tops
Directions

1Bake pie shell for 10 minutes.

2Steam asparagus until tender and chop into slices.

3Saute bacon until crisp; drain.

4Saute mushrooms and onion in small amount of bacon grease.

5Layer bacon, asparagus, mushrooms and onions in bottom of pie crust.

6Beat together eggs, half and half and salt.

7Pour egg mixture over top of other ingredients.

8Decorate the top of the quiche with asparagus tops.

9Bake at 375° for 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

10Cool slightly before serving.
