  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 1/4 c uncooked rice
  • white wine (splash)
  • 5 c chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 c sliced asparagus (steamed)
  • 1/2 c parmesan
  • 1 T butter

    Brown onion -add rice and brown-add white wine (listen for a sizzle)- over medium heat add to rice and onion 1 ladle of chicken broth every 2 min for a total of 20 min- stirring often- finish by adding asparagus, parmesan and butter- serve
