Asparagus Roll-Ups

  • 12 slices white bread
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 4 Tbsp. sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp. Blue cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. dill seed
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 (10 oz.) cans thin asparagus, drained
  • 4 Tbsp. melted butter

    Remove bread crust.

    Roll each slice thin with rolling pin. Mix cheese, seasonings and sour cream; spread on slices.

    Put asparagus spear on edge of bread and roll jelly roll style.

    Put seam side down on cookie sheet; brush with melted butter.

    Brown lightly on both sides under broiler.

    Slice each roll into bite size pieces.

    These can be frozen (don't thaw).
