  • 1 small can pimento
  • 1 (No. 2) can or 2 c. drained asparagus
  • 3 eggs, beaten with fork
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 1/4 c. milk cracker crumbs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. American cheese, grated fine
  • 1/4 c. melted butter (on top)

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together, folding in asparagus last.

    Use 1/4 crumbs for top.

    Bake at 375° for 1/2 hour or until knife comes out clean.
