- 1 (1 lb.) loaf firm white bread, cubed
- 4 c. milk
- 4 eggs, well beaten
- 4 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. fresh cranberries
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1In a large bowl, mix bread, milk, eggs and vanilla.

2Let stand 10 minutes.

3Combine cranberries, sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer 5 minutes.

4Drain cranberries, reserving the liquid to make the sauce.

5Add cranberries, raisins and walnuts to the bread mixture.

6Pour into a well-greased 2-quart mold and bake in preheated 350° oven for 35 minutes.

7Add the cornstarch to the reserved liquid and cook until thickened.

8Spoon over the pudding when serving.
