- 2 c. raisins
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- dough for 2 crust pie
Directions

1Boil raisins in 1 3/4 cups water for 5 minutes.

2Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt.

3Moisten with remaining 1/2 cup water.

4Add to raisins and stir until mixture boils.

5Remove from heat.

6Add lemon and butter.

7Pour into unbaked 9-inch shell. Top with crust. Bake at 425° for 25 minutes.
