- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 4 c. flour
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
Directions

1Pour warm water over yeast to dissolve.

2Meanwhile, scald milk and melt butter and sugar in it.

3When cool, add the flour, eggs (which have been beaten), yeast, salt and lemon extract.

4Beat well.

5Put in warm place to raise twice the size.

6Then put in greased pan.

7Bake at 350° for about 1/2 hour or until tester comes out clean.
