  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 (2.1 oz.) Baby Ruth candy bars, chopped

Directions

    In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.

    Add egg and vanilla; mix well.

    Combine flour, baking soda and salt.

    Add to creamed mixture.

    Stir in candy bars.

    Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inch apart onto greased baking sheets.

    Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until edges are slightly browned. Immediately remove to wire rack to cool.
