  • 4 Sweet apples
  • 1 Whole vanilla bean
  • 1 tsp Organic coconut oil (optional)
  • 1 pinch Himalayan salt crystals (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Filtered/bottled water

    Peel, core and cut into wedges all the apples.

    In a medium pot combine the apple slices, water and vanilla bean together, cover and bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat to low and continue to gently simmer for 30 minutes.

    Once the apples are tender, remove from heat, mash with a masher or a fork.

    Applesauce should be a little watery.

    Add the coconut oil and Himalayan salt.
