- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. cut-up chicken
- 1/4 lb. bacon, cut into small pieces
Directions

1Mix flour, salt and pepper.

2Coat chicken with flour mixture. Fry bacon partially in 10-inch skillet.

3Cook chicken and bacon over medium heat until chicken is brown, 15 to 20 minutes.

4Reduce heat.

5Cover tightly and simmer, turning chicken once or twice, until thickest pieces are done, 20 to 30 minutes.

6(If skillet cannot be covered tightly, add 1 to 2 tablespoons water.)

7Uncover and cook 10 minutes.
