  • 1 pound Fresh Green Beans, Ends Trimmed Off, Cut Into 1-inch Pieces
  • 2 slices Bacon, Chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar

Directions

    Place green beans in a skillet with enough water to just cover beans. Bring water to a simmer. Cover and cook for 6 minutes. Then remove from heat, drain off the water and set beans aside in a bowl.

    Place bacon in the same skillet on medium high heat. Cook bacon thoroughly. Add cooked green beans and stir. Cook until beans are tender (or according to your preference). Add vinegar and sugar. Cook for 2 more minutes. Serve!
