- 5 to 6 baking apples
- 1/2 c. raisins or chopped dates
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Core apples and peel each about 1/4 of the way down.

2Arrange in slow cooking pot.

3Fill centers with raisins and dates. Combine sugar, water, butter, cinnamon and nutmeg.

4Pour over apples.

5Cover and cook 2 to 4 hours.
