- Jonathan apples, peeled, cored and quartered (enough to fill a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish)
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- margarine
- water
Directions

1Peel, core and quarter apples and fill a 9 x 13 x 2-inch-baking dish.

2Top each quarter with a small amount of margarine.

3Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon.

4Sprinkle over apples.

5Slowly add water to dish to a 1/2-inch depth.

6Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 minutes or until apples are done. Serves 12.
