  • 4 slices cooked and drained bacon
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 small onions
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp. barbecue sauce
  • 2 cans pork and beans

    Cook bacon crisp; drain and set aside.

    Brown ground beef and onions; drain.

    In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, mustard, tomato paste and barbecue sauce.

    Add this to beef mixture; crumble bacon into all.

    Add pork and beans; simmer for 10 minutes on top of stove.

    Pour into casserole dish; cook at 325° for 30 or 35 minutes.
