- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 large cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. onion, minced
- 2 Tbsp. parsley, minced
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 3 tsp. bread crumbs
- 1/4 tsp. olive oil
Directions

1Prepare clams by soaking in cold, salted water for at least a few hours; this will take away fishy taste.

2If you sprinkle 1 tablespoon of cornmeal over the top, the clams will eat it, expelling any sand and grit.

3The clams will also be plump from their meal.

4Shuck the clams and drain the juices.

5Remove one shell and loosen the meat from the remaining shell.

6Place in 1 layer in a baking dish.
