- 1 (8 oz.) container egg substitute or 4 eggs
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. milk, scalded (whole or skim)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Combine eggs, sugar and salt.

3Slowly stir in slightly cooled milk and vanilla.

4Pour into 6 (5 ounce) baking cups or a 1-quart shallow baking dish.

5Pour 1 inch of hot water into a larger baking pan and place custard filled dish(es) in water.

6Bake 40 to 45 minutes until a knife inserted in custard comes out clean.

7Serve warm or chilled; either plain, with your favorite sauce or with fruit.
