Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 oz. squares chocolate
  • 1/4 c. milk or water
  • 1/2 c. soft wheat or pastry flour, measure after sifting
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. walnuts or Brazil nuts, chopped
  • 1/3 c. butter

Directions

    Beat the eggs and then add the sugar.

    Cut the chocolate into pieces and put it and the milk or water in a small saucepan.
  3. 3
    Stir and cook over a low heat until a smooth thick paste is formed. Cool the chocolate paste and then add it to the egg mixture.
