Baked Ham

Ingredients

  • 10 to 14 lb. ham
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, ground
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves, ground
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, ground
  • 1 (12 oz.) can Coke
  • 1/2 lb. light brown sugar
  • 1 can sliced pineapple, drain (save the juice)
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice

Directions

    Combine cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, Coke, brown sugar, allspice and pineapple juice in a pot and bring to a light boil.

    Turn fire off when boil begins.

    Trim fat and skim from ham.

    Make shallow cuts on top of ham about 1 inch apart, forming a diamond or square.

    Place ham in baking pan and pour hot mixture on it. Place in 350° oven.

    When mixture begins to simmer, begin basting the ham with the juices.

    Continue to do this every 15 minutes for approximately every 2 hours.
