- 1 (15 oz.) can condensed sweetened milk
- 1/2 c. Key lime juice
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 9-inch baked and cooled pastry shell
Directions

1Beat egg yolks until smooth.

2Blend in sweetened condensed milk.

3Add Key lime juice gradually.

4Pour into baked and cooled pastry shell.

5Bake in moderate oven (350°) until set; usually 10 to 12 minutes.

6Beat egg whites until soft peaks form when beater is lifted.

7Add sugar gradually, beating to soft peaks.

8Spread meringue on warm filling.

9Bake 20 minutes or until meringue has golden peaks.

10Serve warm or chilled.
