Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 3/4 to 1 lb. lasagna noodles
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 bay leaves, remove after simmering
  • 6 to 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Brown ground beef and add other ingredients, except the noodles and cheese.

    Simmer for one hour.

    Cook noodles; drain. Place alternate layers of noodles, meat mixture and cheese in a 9 x 13-inch casserole.

    Top with cheese.

    Bake in 350° oven for 20 minutes.
