  • 2 1/2 lb. red potatoes, peeled and cut up
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/3 c. buttermilk or sour cream

Directions

    Grease casserole dish. Add potatoes and onions. Mix together water, oil, salt, sage and pepper. Drizzle over potatoes. Stir together. Bake, uncovered, at 450° until tender. Mash or beat together with mixer, adding the buttermilk.
