  • 1 to 2 chicken or beef-flavored boullion cubes
  • 3 cups (700 ml) water
  • 1 cup (225 ml) uncooked long-grain rice (not instant!)
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) salt

Directions

    Bring 1 cup (225 ml) of water to a boil.

    In a 2 qt.

    casserole, dissolve boullion cube in boiling water.

    Add remaining water, rice, butter, and salt.

    Cover and bake at 375 degrees (200 C.) for 1 hour.
