  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 can water chestnuts, chopped
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1 c. rice
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • salt and pepper to taste
