  • 3 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. coarse black pepper
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped fine
  • 3/4 tsp. basil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • juice from 1 fresh lemon

    Arrange shrimp in a single layer in a baking dish.

    Melt the butter in a small saucepan, add oil and all the spices and mix well.

    Drizzle over the shrimp.

    Bake for 8 minutes at 450°. Remove from oven.

    Preheat broiler, then place shrimp under the broiler to brown, about 5 minutes total.
